Jan Hammer Pissed on RZA of Wu Tang

anyone heard the news

the new Miami Vice movie out in 2006 is having the soundtrack score done by RZA of Wu Tang??? What the Fuck???

a shitty rapper who thinks he's a movie score specialist?? what a piece of shit,

his stuff on Blade Trinity was plain shite.

its a fucking disgrace that Jan Hammer, the man who practically 1/3rd of the show apart from the main actors is not doing the score,

anyone want to hear some top class synth score, check out the Miami Vice 2 CD Set complete score,

some fucking classics on there,

Jan Hammer and Harold Faltermeyer, true soundtrack specialists

Jan Hammer pisses on RZA!!

as if the RZA could come up with Crocketts theme and sell fucking 10 million of a soundtrack!!

disgraceful

are you the same person who started the Kanye is a turd thread? if so one would assume you just don't like Hip Hop. And if that's the case why not just shut the fuck up and not listen to it, instead of going on and on about this person doesn't have talent and that person doesn't have talent.

Fucking idiots. RZA scored the Blade: Trinity soundtrack. Corny ass "Yan" Hammer is probably hating because he didn't get that gig either. RZA is a deeper hip hop producer than most people know. When listening to the Blade Trinity soundtrack, I was surprised at how well he did. Lack of knowledge easily allows for half-ass unwarranted attacks. At least know the work of the artist you're attacking instead of just attacking someone who works in a genre that you don't like. rolleyes
The original MV soundtrack was cool on the 80s. The whole concept of Vice was being hip. Jan ain't exactly the epitome of hip these days. I bet the original cast members aren't bitching about not being part of the new movie. Its not a remake; they are different characters. New actors, new music.

Um, I really don't think producers of the flick are trying to get Jan Hammer to redo 1985 synth for their 2006 release.

my point is if a person knows they don't like hip hop in the first place, what is the point of starting thread after thread about which producer you hate? why not just start a why i hate hip hop thread and that's it

RZA can and will do a good job of this

He has done impressive scores for GHOSTDOG and KILL BILL and they were dope,

most hip hops producers would just stick to their hip hop scores but RZA is very very creative, i mean listen to 36 Chambers thats got samples of classical music..

am glad RZA is getting the chance to show his talent, he is really one of the finest since Primo and PETE ROck.

The RZA is one of the few bright spots in hip hop production. We don't even have time to list the many producers and artists who have profited from imitating him over the past ten years. I'd certainly stand in line to work with him.

I like all RZA's scores so far. No disrespect to Jan but sometimes you gotta step into the present and the future and leave the past behind.
