Newest Kanye attack

Didja hear the insane comment made by the actress Kelly Carlson of Nip/Tuck against Kanye? She basically says that Kanye's tirade on Bush was "Tacky and low rent" and that "I don't think people in this day and age dislike black people!" "I mean, I think we've kind of moved on from that!" This from a broad who's played a whore in everything she's been in, including a fuck doll made in her image!

*“Nip Tuck” star Kelly Carlson thinks Kanye West was way off the mark with his “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” comment uttered last week during a Hurricane Katrina telethon. "I don't think a lot of people this day and age dislike black people. I mean I think we've kind of moved on from that,” Carlson said, reports Contact Music. "So, to go on television and say that, I think it's tacky, I think it's very low rent."

*R&B star Usher is also speaking out against Kanye West, believing a live telethon just wasn’t the right time to voice such a sentiment. "I wasn't mad at Kanye's statement - that's his opinion - but it's obviously not the opportunity or the time to poke fun or appoint blame. This is an opportunity where we all need to come together - musicians, actors, politicians - and help the Gulf region."

*Master P thinks that Kanye West may have said those choice words against President Bush in order to generate buzz for his new album, “Late Registration,” which was released four days following Friday’s telethon. "I hope the comments that Kanye West made is sincere and this is not a promotional thing to sell records," Master P told WENN. "I know he's got a new album out right now." P, a New Orleans native who has been personally affected by the tragedy, urges entertainers speaking out to focus on what’s important. "We gotta save people. We need George Bush, we need the Mayor (of New Orleans), we need the (Louisiana) Governor," Master P said. "I've lost people, I know how real it is. This ain't about a promotional thing with me. I've got loved ones out there missing."

*Defending himself Friday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” West said his comments were “the least” he could do for the victims.

"People have lost their lives, lost their families. It's the least I could do to go up there and say something from my heart, to say something that's real," he said.

Although actor Mike Myers looked like a deer in the headlights as West ignored the teleprompter, the rapper said he gave Myers the heads up.

"I told Mike 'Yo, I'm going to ad lib a little bit,'" West told DeGeneres. "I went up to Chris Tucker and said 'Get ready for live TV.'"

Meanwhile, the artist has announced that he will launch his own clothing line in the spring.

He said: "The only dream I have had is to produce a gold album and win a Grammy. When I was 14 years old and was thinking about being a rapper, I was not really thinking about fashion first.

"Now that I have a Grammy under my belt and (my new album) “Late Registration” is finished, I am ready to launch my clothing line next spring."

hmmmmm.....they all want to be on the new season of Oprah. biggrin

I miss the age of protest. neutral Yes, we need to come together but that doesn't mean you can't still criticize what you see going wrong. If we keep going down this line of censorship, this country is going to be fucked. We are in such a state of "shhhh, if you don't say anything, it'll go away"....ugh

I saw the Kelly Carlson comment. She is one dumby.

and they gonna make me buy Kanye's cd out of my own protest.

I was just gonna steal it. smile

Translation: "Now that I'm done getting attention for doing something arguably edgy and cool, I'm going to put my name on some more overpriced, baggy-ass clothes and go back to being as lame as I can possibly be."

Why do rappers always want to have a clothing line? I don't get it. There are inifinite enterprises they could start on the side but they always want to go into clothing. Where's the creativity?

Dunno.. I'm still baffled that Puff P Diddy is even relevant in this day and age. I still think the little shit would be nothing but a shadow if Notorious was still around.

And PS.. all the rappers clothings lines suck.. period

Thats the truth. Ruth.

I disagree....I've seen the Sean John and Baby Phat runway shows....they don't suck at all....

Don't confuse the ghetto gear with the real money making lines of both of these fashion lines....they only do ready to wear. I've seen a few entertainers rock Sean John suits.....and the male hosts of ET at times where Sean John suits....diddy is an ass but I think he does aight in the fashion world. shrug

Rocawear and Fetish sucks...but my daughter loves it shrug

Yeah Sean John and Baby Phat have become exceptions.

Unfortunately Diddy is connected to Sean John. (Wasn't he suppose to be changing the name of the line as well?)

Many of the other rappers basically sell over-sized tees, jeans and jackets. What is Kanye going to introduce that some guy can't find on the market now? Wasn't Pharrell suppose to be introducing the button down (aka a shirt)? And didn't the guy with the umbrella have a line or accessories coming out?

I'm glad guys are taking more care into how they dress and realizing that kulat jeans and giant white tee don't cut it.

With that sort of money and popularity why not go into an industry that's untapped. How many record labels and clothing lines are needed?

I thought I read that American Idol Kelly Clarkson made this comment I was like doh! Kelly! disbelief

I don't know this Nip-Tuck person but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, as spineless or unfounded as they might be.

I have no problem with people speaking an opinion. I kinda have a problem with it not being grounded in facts.
