Bauhaus Bauhaus is going on tour and hitting San Francisco in October. There will be presale tickets for fan club members. Does anyone know how to get into the fan club? The official website doesnt give much info. I can't find anything anywhere. Help Peace and Love! | |

I so wanna go..i live so close to san francisco...damn..i dont know..seeing my favorite would be cool,but standing next to a pancake powered person is sorta anonying..fuck..it im so going to try to go..but they better not play on the geary street stage..if they do thier hella going to sell out fast..damn i remember when they sold nin tickets thier they sold out like two minutes after the place opened...plus the stage in geary street is so small.. | |

if bauhaus played cabaret metro in chicago, i would have a total post-goth mental collapse. i'd maybe even dip into the goth drag one last time just to be ridiculous. | |

i mean i would be tempted to do that too..i mean i dressed up hella grungy when i went to a pumpkins show one time..back in..the siamese dream era..you know a mix of grunge with pyschedlia..it wasn't pretty believe me.. | |

Ah yes. But ticketmaster is so unreliable anymore. I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed with them. Ebay can be a less stressful, fairly reasonable alternative. It's how I got my $40 pit tickets for The Cure last year.  | |

And the venue is general admission so the presale and password are of no value to NYC. well, back in the day anyway, chicago was a HUGE place for goth and industrial music. of course, the wax trax wrecka stow has long since closed and a lot of what made the boystown/lincoln park area of chicago cool has eroded...i'd be really interested to see how well these shows sell, though. | |

I was gonna say... when they played Mpls on the last tour I don't think it even sold out. It was pretty full, but I believe tix were still available the night of the show. |

i saw Bauhaus back in... 1998? 1999? the last reunion tour. It was fucking incredible. Peter Murphy has an awesome stage presence. Double Dare, In the Flat Fields, Dark Entries... all were fantastic. | |
