roxanne shante..underated? wee..i found my roxanne shante tape..you know the one..with roxanne versus spark d..for odd reason..the queen of rox is in it too..well do you think she's underated..for some reason..she's the only from that music genre that i listen to.. | |

I think she is very underrated...and that tape your talking about is Round 1-Roxanne Shante-vs-Sparky D. I think that might be the one were they are both on the cover with boxing gloves...I do have the title track which is a hilarious battle of the 2 ladies spewing disses back and forth. I f you really like Shante I would also recommend Badsister released in 89 and her 2nd album The Bitch is back which had the infamous Big Mama single on it which was a blatant diss to Queen Latifah,M.C.Lyte,Monie Love,and Yo-Yo which came out in 92...she also has 2 best of/greatest hits compilations out.
