Jam and lewis worked best with new edition!!!

And not with janet.

Look at every NE song jam and lewis have done

Is it really love
NE heartbreak (I want the 12" mad )
Can you stand the rain
Newness
Come home with me
re-write the memories
home again
something about you
One more day (underated lil' gem)
still in love with you (great update of "can you stand the rain")

Johnny gill

Rub u the right way (awesome song)
The floor
Provocative

(i have missed some out)

Anyway, whats ur favs? Iam just stating that jam and lewis always pull their best shit outta the bag for the boys. Solo albums included. They daved NE's album last year from being a total shitheap. I want more jam and lewis NE tracks mad

I cant name a bad one.

To be honest while everyone was into New Edition's early years they were okay but I never dug 'em. Ralph's nasally voice was annoying and while they did have some cute songs that was about it. It wasn't until they got with Jam & Lewis and NE Heartbreak came out that I actually bought an album by them and it remains my favorite. I like most of the songs that you mentioned. For Johnny, while everyone was digging My My My (LA and Face) I was hooked on Lady DuJour tho.

Wait a sec, I take that back. hrmph Martin Rushent was better suited for them.

Eh, that song's alright. But I think their first album, "Penthouse and Pavement" was better than everything else they did.

nod I Love New Edition dearly! One of my favorites is often forgotten probably because it was on a horrible movie soundtrack and only had a short snippet of played in the movie, but it is another Jam & Lewis gem...

Speaking of which... has anyone heard Alexander O'neal's more recent album (which I think was produced by Bobby Z) and is it worth looking for?
