Supa and I saw Chaka Kahn last night at the annual SUnset Junction street fair in LA... she's not wuite the Diva she used to be - but she sang ALL the hits (including Rufus) and everyone sang along and danced... she was a blast!

Also... she took these "mini breaks" during her set... the back-up singers and some dude (who had that ex-singer / manager kinda feel... but I don't know WHO he was) sorta filled in while she was off-stage.... wonder what she was doin'?

She wasn't in "rare" form but I was practically weeping to see her live. She is my favorite female singer and I am so glad I got to share it with the beloved Dimminutive rocker

One thing is 4 sure... the new generation doesn't have the grip and passion chaka has!
