of course. So many people have raved about Marquee Moon. Richard Hell was also in Television for a while. The Kiss - The Cure 6:14
Not a big fan of this song or album. Why Can't I Be You is a great song. Disintegration is so far beyond this entire album. Marquee Moon - Television 10:40
Does the song really need to be 10 minutes long. and that's sort of my problem with Television. They have the groove, but it's too glossy, and not enough anx like The New York Dolls or The Patti Smith Group and certainly not as eclectic as the Talking Heads. The Boys Are Back In Town - Thin Lizzy 4:29
Average IMO. I never listen to Jailbreak anymore. Thunder and Lightning is by far the best Thin Lizzy album. Orion - Metallica
Cliff Burton tune definately...when Metallica cared about making a metal album...Ride The Lightning is their best album and Call of Ktulu is a superior instrumental. I would love to start a BEST METAL INSTRUMENTAL THREAD, but this board isn't very metal. Alice In My Fantasies - Funkadelic
This tune gives me a headache. Bambi - Prince ( the version from the Undertaker sessions) 4:03 Never heard this version. Stars - Hum 5:09
Hey Dewdre I talked about this song in my last thread. http://www.prince.org/msg/8/157592 Possum Kingdom - The Toadies 5:09
I'm a toadies fam, this band fucking rules and is seriously underrated. Hardly anyone on this board likes them. [Edited 8/21/05 18:16pm]

The thing is when I added Dire Straits, Thin Lizzy and the Star Spangled Banner it was turning into your average guitar comp, I may as well had thrown in Stairway and Free Bird. But it's something about Thin Lizzy's tone, I had to throw in The Boys Are Back, such a classic song. Lately I have been really craving the raw set up,just drums bass and guitar.
Anybody heard of The Fucking Champs? lilgish if you like Metal instrumentals I got a feeling you would love this band.

U like Kyuss and their highly "praised" album Sky Valley? from what I hear at amazon, they don't move me, more like old Kreator. Not bad, and thats just snippets.

I can only imagine asking for a store to order it for me. yeah it's a indie band, think about the freedom you have to even name your band when it's indie, btw I named the comp "guitar" after a Sonny Sharrock album.
