KYLIE MINOGUE - Locomotion

Yes, that's the only song I ever think of by her. I was going to say that but didn't want to show my age. biggrin

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I'm not sure what thesexofit's favorite era is...but Kylie's version is from the 1988... (I just looked it up on All Music Guide.) Was never a big fan of the Locomotion in any version...

Yep. That's thesexofit's favorite era, late 1980s to early, early 1990s. I've heard that version and don't care for it either.

in Australia? she's had some MASSIVE hits being her home country... but I'd probably say "Can't get you out of my head" and "Spinning Around" are known above others nod

MADONNA - Like A Virgin (hah, there goes your artistic growth)

KYLIE MINOGUE - Can't Get You Out Of My Head (the only song on "Fever" that I skip these days btw)

PRINCE - Purple Rain (bizarre that his best-known tune is basically country)

GEORGE MICHAEL - Careless Whisper (even though many people don't even necessarily know it's his)

WHITNEY HOUSTON - I Will Always Love You (unfortunately, my ears!)

JANET JACKSON - That's The Way Love Goes (Her biggest hit anyways)

ROLLING STONES - Satisfaction (stupid)

SLY & THE FAMILY STONE - Dance To The Music (they don't have one as far as the general view goes, but I'll choose that one)

DOORS - Light My Fire (It's a cover!)

MARIAH CAREY - Without You (And no exposed bosom!)

MICHAEL JACKSON - Billie Jean

GLORIA ESTEFAN - who? (sorry Gloria Estefan never had much cross-atlantic exposure)

CELINE DION - "The Titanic song" smile

LED ZEPPELIN - Stairway To Heaven (there are others?)

BEATLES - Let It Be (a bit hard decision, I think "Let It Be" is the best-known over "Yesterday")

ARETHA FRANKLIN[/b] - Respect (duh)
