Bob Marley Appreciation Thread

Bob Marley. U know Bob B preachin'. Reggae legend, I'm sure ya'll would agree. I thought if we were gonna non-Prince discussion, Bob Marley should B discussed. If had not already been. Bob Marley died in 1981 from cancer in his foot that spread when Bob did not want it 2 B amputated. His music still lives through his children, Ziggy ect. I think every race loved Bob, White, Black, and Latin. He reminds me of Prince, has fans of every race. Eventhough he plays only 1 type of music but everybody loves it. The smooth groove, chronlogical order of release as opposed 2 party mix. As well with the latter. Much classics as Redemption song, No woman, No Cry, Jammin', Could You Be Loved, Turn Your Lights Down low, Is This Love, I know A Place, I Shot the Sheriff, and One Love gives clear evidence of why Marley's legacy endears and endears nearly a generation after his passin'. "C'mon C'mon, We jammin', I wanna jam'a wit U".

Exodus is my favorite reggae record ever. I don't know why people argue that Exodus is softer and not as strong as Catch A Fire, Natty Dread, or even Burnin'. Okay, so it was recorded in London and the production is a little mellow, but still hard edged, and it is the greatest and strongest album Bob ever did. Exodus is just a 5-star masterpiece! Bob Marley is becoming one of favorite artists because he was and still is innovative and his message lives on.

I don't know what really happened in Bob/Rita's personal life, so I can't be the judge of that. I'm only appreciating him for his music.
