Which Jackson brother do you think is more talented? Michael aside, which Jackson brother do you prefer? I think most of us will agree that both Randy and Jermaine are talented.
Randy used to be a great composer and played alot of instruments (piano, congas, keyboards, guitar etc). http://en.wikipedia.org/w...usician%29 He wrote or co-wrote songs like: On Destiny: That's what you get for being polite Shake your body to the ground Things I do for you All night dancin Destiny On Triumph: Lovely one Time waits for no one Walk right now Give it up Wondering who On Victory/alone One more chance The love we almost had Jermaine is smooth and talented singer and plays the bass in an impressive way. He is especially impressive due to the fact that he masters the vocals, bass and choerograpy simultaneously IMO. He is the brother who has had a somewhat succesful solo carrier. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ne_Jackson

Jermaine has made the best music. Randy has skills aswell. I would need to see tito live.
Jackie and Marlon are the bottom two.

I love the song "Castles of sand" with Jermaine. There is a sample of it here http://www.amazon.com/exe...c&n=507846 I wish I could get a hold of the entire song.

I like the somewhat raspy vocals Jermaine used to blend with his smooth style in the 70's.

Now I agree with Mike being the most talented. He is followed by Jermaine and then Randy.
But y'all are underestimating Marlon. MArlon produced basicaly his whole Baby Tonight LP, playing all instruments fromGuitar and Bass to Keyboards and Drums/Percussion. Then Tito comes right after Marlon, or he can come before looking at the material he worked on. Jackie would have too come in last. Thats not a bad thing, as he produced tracks like Your Ways and Torture. So in order from most talented would be Michael - Multi-Insrumentalist, Producer, Singer and Dancer Jermaine - Multi-Insrumentalist, Producer, Singer and Dancer Steven - Multi-Insrumentalist, Producer, Singer and Dancer Marlon - Multi-Insrumentalist, Producer, Singer and Dancer Toriano - Multi-Insrumentalist, Producer, Singer and Dancer Sigmund - Multi-Insrumentalist, Producer, Singer and Dancer PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever ----- Live Your Life How U Wanna Live It

Not that I think that it matters to you but I'll say it anyway. On what grounds do you say they all suck? The songs they have produced are not bad. Or do you honestly think that songs like Can you feel it, Shake your body suck? Everything doesn't come in black and white, maybe you should try to see thinks in shades of grey. Just a thought.

ive already said this in another thread about this topic but its defiently got to be jackie and randy. they are the most amazing songwriters behind michael out of all the family, and in my opinion being able to write great songs is the most hardest and talented thing one can do in the music industry

Didn't Jackie produce and sing lead on 'Wait'? I love that song. Ha, and he did backing vocals for Madonna on 'White Heat'. Looking forward to Tito's Blues album too.

Wait was one of my favorite songs off of Victory. I also liked his song Cruisin' and Wondering Who kind of grew on me. The funk at the end is crazy. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Amazing someone actually owns Jackies "be the one" album "cruizin' is awesome. I love "wait" alot too. Best cut off "victory" by far. Jackie sounds so great on it. And the middle 8 is awesome, then Mikes vocals come in at the end. Goosepimple stuff.

Anyway, the question? I'd say randy (just). His randy and the gypsies album is very funky in places. And no denying "one more chance" is perhaps the most underated of all jackson related songs ever! Again the middle 8 is gorgeous.
Marlon had "baby tonight" too around 1987. Randy, jackie and marlon all had albums out in the late 80's. And all are very hard to find. Particually jackies.

I've only got Jackie's self-titled first solo album on vinyl. It's mostly just covers.
