Star and Buc Wild- Bootsy interview

Did any of you guys hears the interview yesterday with Bootsy Collins on the radio morning show of 'Star and Buc Wild'? If so, I would like to hear your comments on how the interview went with a funk bassist legend Bootsy. I'll give my thoughts later.

Star gave his ratings of the top five bassist. Bootsy was #4, Geedy Lee was #1, Bernard Edwards from Chic was in the top five along with two other bassist(I can't remember their names) from some rock bands. These great bassist did not make his top five, Stanley Clarke, Larry Graham, Louis Johnson, Ron Carter, Flee, Chris Squire, Gerald Vesley. Star would ask Bootsy a question and then speak over Bootsy while Bootsy attempted to answer his question, how disrespectful to treat a funk icon.

If that's the same Buc Wild who wrote on the back page of The Source in its heyday, I hate I missed it. His column would have me laughing out loud sometimes.

Star is always disrespectul. He considers himself to ber the black Howard Stern. But at least he got the pistol-whippin he deserved for mocking Aaliyah's death the day of her funeral.

dent

no way in hell should Geddy be above Larry Graham. Not that geddy isn't a great bass player, but Larry graham is probably the most innovative and influential electric bassist of the rock era.

nod

Larry Graham's bass work is ridiculous. I consider Graham and Bootsy 1 and 1a...GCS' Today should be retitled BASS 101
