Pop Mindbender of the Day: Living in a Box Not deserving of a Bring Back thread but something to think about today. Let us discuss briefly the entity that was Living in a Box.
In 1987, a group from the UK was all over MTV for exactly one song. The song, a funky little pop hit called "Living in a Box", was catchy enough, even if it made absolutelyno sense whatsoever. Well, the song was from a group called Living in a Box. And the album that this pearl came from? You guessed it, Living in a Box. So let's put this together, shall we? Living in a Box had a hit called "Living in a Box" from the album Living in a Box. Truly mindbending. The group didn't have any more pop hits in the states and broke up in 1990. There is a greatest hits album out there, even though I still don't understand how you can have a greatest hits album when you have one hit. The rumors that the band members are currently living in a box are unconfirmed. Living in a box? All good things they say never last...

Okay, Living in the Box wasn't the only band that did this. Prince also pulled off a similar feat. No, there was no song called "Prince" on the Prince album. But, he did release "My Name is Prince" from the album and since his name became ...well, it's kinda the same thing. All good things they say never last...

It was a club banger back in the day with a slight funky beat and had decent vocals.
