The main reason why she gets space in the Icelandic press these days is actually because no-one likes her music.... and she complains in the papers about not being played on the radio and blames it on the "racist musician-mafia".... the little airplay she gets is on Radio 2, which is sort of a mix between British Radio 1 and Radio 2... this is a public service station and they tend to give everyone, no matter how shitty the music is, at least one or two spins.... She craves attention, and when she doesn't get any attention, she says something outrageous like "Icelandic musicians are talentless, lazy racists!" and this gets the attention of newspapers, at least the tabloids.... | |
