I have The Box in Holland. Yeah I know we do because I remember recently flipping through and seeing Jimmy Page. It was that Puff Daddy/Kashmir video. Gotta love The Box for showing Jimmy "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

vainandy said: I didn't know it lasted until 1994. In my area, I remember our cable company carrying it from around 1989 or 1990 and the last time I saw it on the air was when Prince's "Get Off" was popular. After that, it just disappeared. Actually, THE BOX lasted throughout the 90's. But my best times watching it was between 1990-1994. Just need it to clear that up. And BTW, I didn't always need cableTV to get it. It was a local channel in selective cities (New Orleans, Houston, Baton Rouge, etc.).

RipHer2Shreds said: The Box was only "good" for one thing - ass shakin' rap videos. That's pretty much all they played, videos that wouldn't get play on MTV. You can see that shit anytime late night on BET now. The one I remember seeing all the time on The Box was Funky Y2C by The Puppies.
[Edited 8/18/05 20:23pm] Hey little mamma, why you got the funky? Oh damn, I can't believe that I remember this video? Kris Kross & Another Bad Creation comes to mind too!

Okay, let me back it up...I don't like that song. I'd rather hear that one that says "Bone, bone booooone, bone, booooone." Which one's that? Crossroads? Even that only entertains out of annoyance. Wait, there's a chick wailing on that one, too! "Haaaaail, Maryyyyy!"

![]() OMG...they wouldn't stop playing Thuggish Ruggish Bone for about 2 years! What about those tricks that were wailing at the begining of the Tha Crossraods video singing Mary Don't You Weep. Anywayz, I'm one of Clevland's own, and during that time everyone here basically worshipped them. You could hear the whole album just by taking a stoll down the street. Thank You San Alejo for getting rid of my enemies. :-0
Thank You SO much Saint Expedite for your help Thank You Virgin de Guadalupe for helping my friend Thank You Saint Anthony for returning my wallet to me untouched

It's so funny that you mention The Box. I've been going through some old videos and I have a lot of videos from that channel. I used to request videos when the menu/catalog of songs would be displayed and no one was requesting. I could'nt believe every video I selected played seconds later. I could never figure out how that worked Clarence Carter - Strokin' Bone Thugs and Harmony - all of their early videos Doc Box and B Fresh - Slow Love (remember this duo Stephanie Mills - Home Spice 1 ...and many many more Ohhh you keep saying stay the niiiiiiiiight
Just let me rock you 'til the morning liiiiiiight It's cold outside And much too late to driiiiiiiive You know I need you baby I'm so lost without your love Mariah Carey - Stay The Night
