I heard it is Jamie Foxx imitating Ray throughout the whole song "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

yeah thats what i heard too, maybe this is the way Kanye is trying to get out of using samples, by using artists to resing hooks and chorus's written by legends while adding words to them.... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Actually, it's Jamie only in the intro. The rest is a sample of the real Ray Charles ("I Got A Woman").

It is Jaime re- siging the hook - It has jaime under vocals in the liner notes - but they still have to give the "sample" credit to Ray Charles Your Avie is funny-- I love that movie!

Damn.. he did a good job.. or whoever mixed the song did a good job I agree, he sounds exactly like him. I wonder how Ray Charles would feel about that? I can't decide whether it's right or not. I wonder if he were alive if he would have sung the hook himself.

I don't think Ray Charels would've minded because he was very fond on Jaimie - they spent alot of time together before he died- with Jaimie studying his character that movie had been in the making for 5 years [Edited 8/29/05 8:51am]
