how does Tommy Lee get top 40 radio airplay???? let me start off by saying i am a big Motley Crue fan and have been since 1984 BUT how does a 48 year old drummer like Tommy Lee cross the usual age barrier of top 40 radio and get played so much with his new song?? for the last 10 years or more top 40 radio has avoided just about every artist over the age of 40 (including Prince) so it suprises me that they treat Tommy Lee like he's some kind of new hip artist...i mean Vince Neil or Brett Micheals could come out with the greatest solo record ever and i can guarantee they will be ignored by top 40 radio..i gotta give it up for Tommy crossing the barrier BUI isnt this is a classic case of "payola"? Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

IMDB says he was born in October 1962, so he's still 42. That sounds more accurate.

And to think, I remember Missy (or someone from her camp) saying he was flying in a helicopter at the time of that shoot, so she asked him to be in the video, and voila. I am MrVictor....

I don't listen to much Top 40 anymore (the only Top 40 station here anyway plays almost exclusevly hip hop with someone like Kelly Clarkson being the sole pop singer) but I wonder if it's just the station over there. Tommy has released three solo albums, all have flopped and it doesn't seem like the record company puts much support behind them (although he promotes them as much as he can). The only song I remember of his was "Get Naked" because VH1 still runs clips of it during their many celebrity/pop music commentary shows. If Tommy Lee is getting radio play, it just might be the station over there because I don't see any company throwing payola behind him and expecting him to sell CDs. I'm surprised to see the Motley Crue Reunion over already. I keep thinking their last CD was released last summer....but it was released in Feb! (I remember because I bought it with Kylie and Tina's double hits CDs that same week).
