who here's a fan of kim wilde? c'mon i know i'm not the only one, although this may very well be the first ever org thread posted about her
Kids in America anyone? You Came? or how about her scorching version of You Keep Me Hangin' On? (love the supremes, but their original pales in comparisson to sexy kim's cover) 80's cheese at it's finest [Edited 8/15/05 17:26pm]

I used to love the hell out of that song in the beginning of the 80's. " Ohh. We're In The Kids America. "

Im sorry but who is Kim Wilde? What kind of music did she do? Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I love the two songs I know from her, "Kids In America" and "You Keep Me Hangin On". I always want to credit "Metro" to her but I'm 90% sure that was Berlin....but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Her best known track is a dance pop take on "You Keep me Hangin On" altough "Kids In America", a new wave pop song gets airplay every now and then.

I saw her live a few years ago at one of those 80s nostalgia shows. She was great, but there aren't that many of her songs I ever really listen to. 'You Came' is a classic though.

To me she is a part of my 80's collection. I have You Keep Me Hangin On, Kids in America and my fave is Chequered Love.
She should stay away from Nena, though.

i am.
"say you really want me" & "love is holy" are two of my favourite kim wilde tracks. i thought "now & forever" was a really good album. and her cover of "if i can't have you" was brilliant. loved the remixes too [Edited 8/25/05 18:33pm]
