N*E*R*D LIVE in Boston! Just got back from the show and it rocked! I urge any Prince fan to go to see these guys, you will not be disappointed. Tight band, jazzy and funky and some rock too. A mixed crowd, which I haven't seen since the Craig David show, and the band is even getting airplay on the alternative station in town WFNX. You gotta give these guys credit for not selling out with this record, there are no real mainstream hits on it, and they didn't even try to sell out and they used all live instruments. No samples, just good music. They thanked the fans for sticking by them and also seemed to really be having fun. It reminded me of an early Prince show, great energy, place was going nuts. Check them out if ya can, they're cool.

Excuse me but you don't know what you're talking about Hardcore. I'm going to their show on Thursday in Detroit and am expecting to be fully blown away. Glad you liked it DMSR. This album also reminds me of the Tricky debut in a strange way- fresh and exciting. | |
