DavidEye, CORPORATE LABELS are the ones not taking chances. The artists simply don't want to get thrown off the label by not abiding by the guidelines. Most R&B artists that get publicity $$$ aren't on a label that would support their creative ventures anyway. Sad truth.

indeed, he's almost 40,

he's the musical equivalent of a boxing bum, a boxer who just gets paid and takes a beating

his first album and second were all made by Timbaland,

thats the only reason he got a hit and sold any albums, because Timbaland was the hot producer in 96/97 with missy and Aaliyah, and Ginuwine was there at the right time.

to be honest

he is an embarrasment to music,

music has moved on,

he is past it,

he was past it after his 1st album which is some achievement,

he has no ability to craft a good melody and relies on producers to give him the songs while he just craps out the same generic vocals track after track.

theres enough generic crap like Mario , omarion, etc to last a lifetime,

ginuwine is simply the original crap,

he needs to retire,
probably got enough to do so,

its the simple fact that no one really cares about his music and doesn't give a shit,

selling 100,000 albums is an achievement for ginuwine in today's market so good luck to him if he thinks he can compete
