"I want people to jump out of their seats" Never one to understate, those were the exact words Madonna used to describe the songs on her upcoming album, -"Confessions On a Dance Floor". The 12 delicious tunes of pure 'unapologetic dance music' including the single "Hung Up" (out Oct.17th) is scheduled to be released on November 15th on Warner Bros. Records. This time out, the original Queen of Dance Music returns to where she began and kicks it up a few extra notches.

"It's in her blood" says Madonna's co-producer/partner in crime, DJ and Madonna musical director, Stuart Price. "She has a dance halo over her head. We made this record without any preconceived notions. It was straight from the gut - unencumbered -not over edited - very spontaneous, concluded Price.

If 'Confessions' were equated to a new dance step, it would a stunning blend of musical styles with one foot in the roots of early disco (a la Girogio Moroder/Abba on ecstacy) and the other foot gloriously ensconced in the future of music - a dance step that could only be accomplished by one artist.

Confessions on a Dance Floor is all about having a good time straight through and non stop." says America's ultimate Dancing Queen.

That clip is GREAT! It reminds me of all the fun I had last year at the three Madonna shows I went to."Nobody Knows Me" was definitely one of the highlights.....Madonna prancing around on that conveyer belt with those sexy black leather boots on....as the lyrics flash across the screens in back of her.Hot performance!!

I wonder why Madonna didn't hire her for RIT?

It's never been answered.

Madonna doesn't speak, everyone who works for her is under nondisclorsure contracts, Niki tells a lie about not wanting to go... even though she didn't even know there was a tour til her webmaster told her.

Donna had said in interviews she was upset she wasn't in the Music video but understand that Niki and Debbie were actully friends with Madonna, whereas her relationship was just professional.

Did Madge and Niki have a row?

Who can say 4 sure? I've heard it was over money and Niki said on her site that she didn't want 2 sing back up anymore. The truth I'm sure is probably neither these.

No I don't buy that.

Niki is too old to get a good RnB or pop carear started. I just remember that she had no clue, and than later got all bitter about it. Which I would to if i found out that i lost my high paying job through someone that works for me.

I've heard things from money to drug problems weight issues and the showboating that would go on.

who knows...

but on to other things.

new Madonna a little over a month away!!!!!

The tour is rumored for Summer 2006.My prediction is that this will be a "dance music tour",just like the new album. She won't perform any ballads. It will be a fun tour that celebrates her dance hits. What do you guys think?

eek Holy shit! That sounds fantastic!!! Can't wait, as I love Maddy as much as any straight man is allowed to by law!

eek eek Double Holy Shit!!!! Did you read the thing in the corner about her being offerred to reprise her Evita role for the stage? I know many rag on her role in that film, but I LOVED her in it (and I'm VERY familiar with the stage production, so don't go there). Hell, I'd seriously have to consider a vacation to Europe to see that (even though I'm one broke-ass mofo)!

thumbs up! Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way! I thought she was so perfectly cast in that movie. I mean, who else in modern society is so beloved AND maligned like Evita was if not Maddy?

My ONLY complaint was that she shouldn't have sang "Another Suitcase, Another Hall" in the film. I understand they only did that because she REALLY loves the song and wanted to get to sing it, but I just don't think it worked. Instead, she should have recorded her own version and made it a b-side or bonus track or something. Still, that is a minor complaint, all-in-all. Her performance was absolutely riveting, and she had AMAZING chemistry with Banderas.
