PrintableDespite her injuries, Madonna was wisked away yesterday by helicopter for a prior engagement, accompanied by Guy, the Daily Express reports.
A gatekeeper at the star's estate describes Madonna's determination as he revealed how she walked the few tentative steps from a Land Rover to the helicopter and says she was "in divine form". Wearing a neckbrace, she climbed on board the helicopter where it had been parked behind trees in a field. He says: "Madonna and Guy decided that she should carry on with her schedule. She managed to walk a few steps to the helicopter which then flew her to an airport. "All I know is that she is going by private jet to a function abroad where she will carry on with her duties as planned. I am not a least surprised that she has made this decision. I have not seen her myself today but the other staff have. They say she is in fine form and can't wait to get back to riding". Madonna reportedly started riding in late spring and is still categorized as a novice. She has a dance CD due for release this November. It's not anticipated that the spill will prevent her from promoting it, said Rosenberg, who told PEOPLE: "I'm sure she'll be very restless. She's usually doing lots of things at once." So will she get back on the horse and ride again? "Knowing her, she'll be riding next week," says Rosenberg.
