Who's covering what now?

You ever think an artist should cover a song they'd likely never do? Tonight at work I was thinking to myself, "Self, I'll bet Bowie does a damn fine version of Jack's Lament from Nightmare Before Christmas." nod

Anyone else agree? Or anyone have any similar seemingly-odd ideas for cover versions?
