Best TLC album?

It's hard...the toss between CrazySexyCool and Fanmail...

I'm a go with Fanmail. Because I spun that shit twice daily in high school and freshman year of college. I'm not a huge fan of the singles (Unpretty = one of my least fave TLC songs); the "No Scrubs" w/o Left Eye's rap sucks; "Dear Lie" is catchy but Tionne's vocals are weak...it's the amazing album cuts that push it to the top.

"My Life"
"Shout"
"Silly Ho"
"I'm Good at Being Bad"
"Lovesick"
"Automatic"
"Don't Pull Out on Me Yet"

Your votes?

PS "Creep" is my all time fave TLC song tied with "What about your Friends"
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

You gave the top two choices with CrazySexyCool & Fanmail , unfortunately I've yet to listen to their first and last albums. I'll go with the middle two.

CrazySexyCool was a leap for TLC, considering how much they had grown since Oooooohhh...On the TLC Tip. It's easily their best album as a unit. I don't think it ever gets old.

CrazySexyCool, and then their debut. The other 2 were pretty weaksauce.

"CrazySexyCool".. it has some arguable duds, but is overall cohesive, masterfully produced, and there's simply no beating classics like "Creep", "Diggin' On You", "Red Light Special", and, of course, "Waterfalls" (hellishly overplayed as it is), not to mention stellar non-singles like "Switch" and "Sumthin' Wicked This Way Comes". My only qualms are the aforementioned presence of duds (sorry.. "Kick Your Game"? "Let's Do It Again"? "Case Of The Fake People", an inferior remake of "What About Your Friends"?) and NOT ENOUGH LEFT EYE.

Their debut is an extremely close second: The themes are probably their best, the production is their funkiest, the girls all get equal time behind the microphone be it for rapping or singing (T-Boz and Chilli even contribute raps of their own), and they display, in my opinion, their finest chemistry altogether and the greatest examples of their personalities.

Still.. "CrazySexyCool" for sheer cohesiveness and all-around strength of the material.
