While I'm sure the story is fake, when these little tiffs between the 2 happen in the press, it's ALWAYS Christina that throws the first punch. I don't think I've ever heard Britney say a single bad word about Christina unprovoked. I've always thought Christina's jealously was very silly. Who cares that Britney got signed 1st and had success mere months before Christina? No 1 would dispute that Christina's a far better singer.

my dear,
mama's gun sold over a million,
Bag Lady was a #1 R&B hit
Bag Lady = Top 20 Pop hit

"Love ofMy Life" hit the top 10 pop and R&B

every album is nominated for multiple grammys

comparing her to cyndi is not correct

i wasn't dissing cyndi just pointing out that she's been in the game for a long time and number 37 is hardly a comeback to form of her glory days...
everyone chill
i love cyndi's first album
she's very talented
just like Badu

love4oneanother!

it was all just a response to voice's "that's sooooo last week" joke...

please smoke some herb or take a shot or go to yoga class and dont take sh*t on a message board personally unless it's truly derogartory lol biggrin cool

#37 is very respectable for an artist who's been around as long as she has. It also represents a major comeback from her 90's flops. I don't think many people expect an artist from 1983 to sell 5 million copies of a new album. lol

OK OK OK!!!!!
37!
I do admit it's better than I'd think for her.
Let me also acknowledge her other accomplishments of late:
Opening for Cher; a DVD in stores; a grammy nod (I think); Divas Live a few years ago...
she's great
no problem with her whatsoever
"she bop" and "money changes everything" are AMAZING tunes!!!

now, say something nice about Madonna razz
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

via various "news" sources...

Christina Aguilera has warned pop rival Britney Spears not to expect a comeback after her baby is born - because she's "let herself go" too much to reclaim her sex symbol status, reports sfgate.com.

Aguilera is horrified by the deterioration in Spears' appearance since she announced she's expecting her husband Kevin Federline's child earlier this year.

Aguilera hopes the star will be content with motherhood, because she doubts she'll ever be a pop star again.

She says, "She's let herself go. I can't see a comeback on the cards."

so we are back to the charts being an indication of someone's talents ehh? you really shouldn't go "there" when your avi indicates an appreciation for eryka badu..expecially since she is appearing in a documentary about artists who deserve to be stars but arent.....

cyndi lauper has had a creative resergence...her charting compared to her previous chartings is a positive and means that she is regaining her audience..there is momentum in her career..

why you feel the need to crap on something positive is beyond me though.....

btw: i love me some ms. badu..but mama's gun flopped.....still doesnt mean thats not her best album to date.

shrug

is this old news? britney was called a has been by christina. supposedly christina made some kind of statement saying that britney has let her image go too far; a comeback is out of the question. there are various articles on the web but they seem to be based on gossip and no real quotes. anybody know anything about this pop tart trying to call out another pop tart?

My poison: Christina (especially when she try to put on more body fat!)

I'm sorry, it's actually Britney that turns me on. I usually go for the trailer park trash kind of girls, like Christina, but there's just something about that Britney Spear's high-school mall-hanging can't-have-it-you-long-haired-punk-my-dad's-way-richer-than-yours that gets uncontrollable for me. It's terrible.

Oh, so this wasn't a VS-thread on sex appeal? Nevermind then.

dont think it has a name yet but it sounds hot...all those participating have agreed to be documented...cameras were present at some of the largo shows and also at badu's aftershow which are going to be part of the show.....

its an awesome way to get "real" talent noticed.
