Will it EVER be released on CD? I downloaded Part 1 when it was first out and paid for it, but I don't like having them protected and in wma format and don't particularly want to pay for them again sad

HI Ellie!

No, Sananda decided that this album only will be available from his website.

This is the mastered version and the songs are all MP3's, so they are not protected this time and so also available now for Mac-users.

There are more songs, so you can of course only buy the songs you want.

The ones you are missing (if you have all Weed-files) are:

Four shadow
Angie
More than you do
Boolay Boolay
Daddy can I have a war?
She knows I'm leaving

Love
Lily

Ooh, well I've already got 'Daddy Can I Have A War' and 'She Knows I'm Leaving'.

Anyway, I probably will pay to download this eventually, as long as the files are able to burn on a CD or add to an iPod.

I love his music and if he read this I wouldn't want him to be offended, but seriously that is some rather on-the-fly Microsoft Paint album art.

lily,

why doesn't he release this in the same way he did Wildcard? it makes me kind of sad for him because it seems like he's not confident enough or something in the music to release it on CD. people still want that tangible, real "release" you know...not some bitrate alternative. that's the conclusion i'm drawing, is that he's not actually confident that the music is worthy of the rest of his catalogue that HAS been put on CD/record/etc. i'd love to hear that i am wrong. the artwork seems to suggest otherwise; like i said - it is pretty bad.

what happened to this guy? he's made some great music and i am not one to judge on the name-change and all that like some others have - bottom line is that he definitely has an audience and in my opinion deserves better...i'd buy it in the stores if it was good, for sure. also, what is up with asking for a social security number? seems a bit private to me, and secondly it limits his audience to US customers only. i'm in Australia at the moment and there's no way I could purchase this even if i wanted to! and i was REAALLY looking forward to this release a few months back. oh well.

peace, from a fellow artist.

What? You need a social security number to purchase? That can't be right. He's not even based in the US.

thanks lilu...GREAT NEWS!!!

funny, i just met a girl named neelo...how do you pronounce your name? and also....has sananda looked into releasing his albums via amiee mann and michael penn's independent United Artist?

check some info out on it:

http://www.unitedmusician...index.html

UNITED MUSICIANS is founded on the principle that every artist should be able to retain copyright ownership of the work he or she has created and that this ownership is the basis for artistic strength and true independence.

United Musicians Artists have their own labels under the United Musicians banner and retain all rights of ownership to their work. By uniting and sharing resources, United Musicians Artists have a stronger organizational base from which to build and flourish in their independence.

History
Artists Aimee Mann, Michael Penn and their manager Michael Hausman formed United Musicians during the independent release of Aimee's album "Bachelor No. 2." Together, they saw the obstacles that faced a single artist label in a world of multinationals. They imagined a group of artists joining together to provide a level playing field, create a recognizable brand and ethos that would attract like-minded artists and music lovers while allowing the artists to retain control of their work.

Regarding the social security number, I imagine maybe they meant "zip code" and made a mistake. When I registered I left that field blank and had no problems buying and downloading the album.

Musically what does it sound like? New directions? More like Wild Card?
Vibrator is T's album I go back to the most. Although Wild Card still interests me. It doesn't hit you over the head right out the box. It requires repeated spins. cool

Hey sosgemini....Lilu is actually a typo it's Lily wink and thanx for the tip but Sananda is his own label and releases it online only.

Bfunkthe1: at the link http://www.sanandamaitrey...index.html
you can hear the unmastered rough versions for free through the WeedShare service. The mastered versions are richer in sound.

This why his fan base is so small. No one helps other fans out and spread the word.

I'm a HUGE fan. He is my fav artist but I honestly don't get it.
Someone as beautiful as he is must have a better picture I guess.
That one sucks.
One thing is pretending not 2 look as a pretty superficial shit boy and another is looking the worst of someone in the worst day ever.

sananda, change that shit, please.
