I remember that song. It was #1 in the U.S. back in 1990. It was left off for the same reason why Madonna's "Cherish" wasn't included.

I just realized "Like A Prayer" (video) is included on the 4th disc so you got your wish.

And his duet with saffire (remember her?) on "dont give up on love" is cool. Its a nice beatboxy tune. Tommy page and Madonna were quite similar. I dont know why, but the fact they were both so pop has something to do with it. Poor tommy, he got dropped.

I didn't know Sa-Fire recorded a duet with Tommy Page. I do recall that after her first album she wanted to expand her range beyond freestyle and did a cover of "I Will Survive" that was very newjack. I liked newjack at the time, but I didn't want to hear it from Sa-Fire.

Anyway I heard they both formed a dance group (not them but got 2 other people together) in the early 90's? He used a fake name for the songwriting. I cannot remember the name, but it was freestyle or at least dance music anyway?

It still would have been really cool to include Specimen. Maybe they were too goth to be on the same collection as Tommy Page.
