the ONE thing Ginuwine did right... Nine O' clock, all alone Paging you, wishing you'd come over my place After while Let me know, we can just keep talkin 'bout the last time You were here What we did... (no sleep till morning) Only bubble baths, and back rubs Hit me back, girl I hope you hurry 'cause I'm so... So anxious So meet me at 11:30, I love it when you're talkin' dirty (said I'm) So anxious Girl could you quit this stallin', you know I'm a sexaholic (said I'm) So anxious So meet me at 11:30, I love it when you're talkin' dirty (said I'm) So anxious Girl could you quit this stallin', you know I'm a sexaholic(said I'm) It's 10:10, where you been? Did you get my message? (Your expression is telling me that you've been thinkin' the same thang) The same thang I've been thinkin' You say you're workin', well hit me just as soon as your shift is over And I'll be waitin, 'cause I can't sleep for reminscin' Reminiscin' about you, and what we do Hit me back (and I hope you hurry), ooooohh So anxious So meet me at 11:30, I love it when you're talkin' dirty (said I'm) So anxious Girl could you quit this stallin', you know I'm a sexaholic (said I'm) So anxious So meet me at 11:30, I love it when you're talkin' dirty (said I'm) So anxious Girl could you quit this stallin', you know I'm a sexaholic(said I'm) Said as soon as you hit the door, I'ma pull you down on the floor And before we get to touch the bed, baby back up every word you said And before we get to hit the lights And before we start the candelights Baby girl, I wanna bump and grind This is something that is on my mind So anxious So meet me at 11:30, I love it when you're talkin' dirty (said I'm) So anxious Girl could you quit this stallin', you know I'm a sexaholic (said I'm) So anxious So meet me at 11:30, I love it when you're talkin' dirty (said I'm) So anxious

the whole 100% Ginuwine album is HOOOTTTT. I remember first hearing it at the listening station..I Was Hooked!!!
4 out of 5 stars on allmusicguide.com : Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine Ginuwine's debut album certainly sounded like little else on the modern soul front. Thanks to Timbaland's inventive production, it blended classic soul songwriting with inventive sonic textures, borrowed equally from hip-hop, trip-hop, and electro-funk. For the follow-up, Ginuwine and Timbaland decided that if it ain't broke, just spiffy it up a little bit — which means 100% Ginuwine uses The Bachelor as a blueprint but goes further, boasting more inventive productions and a stronger set of songs. If nothing grabs the ear like "Pony," most of the songs slowly work their way underneath the skin, revealing themselves as either seductive ballads or ingratiating dancefloor numbers. Timbaland continues to prove that he's one of the savviest producers in modern hip-hop and soul, but Ginuwine remains the star of the show, thanks to his rich, inviting voice. love it Ok, I'll give you this. The beat was slamming. However, the lyrics left a little something to be desired b/c they're too simplistic and leave nothing to the imagination. "I'm Horny. Let's Do It. Ride It. My Pony. My Saddle Is Waiting. Jump On It."

So Anxious was the jam. I also dug What's So Different and Differences. Speaking of Ginuwine, where the hell did he go? He seemed to drop pff the eart after In Those Jeans. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I like Ginuwine. I think the brotha has skillz. He can sing (contrary to the belief of some orgers), and can dance his ass off. He's a damn good frontman. His biggest flaws were in his image & marketing rather than his talent. Dude tried to go the "GAP" route with his look instead of being the creative "out there" type. If he had taken that direction, he wouldn't have been boxed in with other R&B singers and the "establishment" would have given him more freedom to press boundaries. Also, a lot of his tracks seemed throwaway. He needed some of Timbaland's top shelf tracks like "Pony". He also should have been dropping more fast jams like "Sex". Lack of fast jams dooms every male R&B artist and none of them seem to learn this. His performances were on point, though. He is a good showman.

Definitely on point about the lack of fast jams to promote an R & B record. Very few male singers do this. Even R. Kelly started his career with the dance tracks on his debut before he started going crazy with ballads like "U Remind Me of Somethin." [Edited 8/6/05 20:03pm]

Ginuwine has had a few sublime moments and 2 me is truly the better of the singer/dancer r&b artists at the moment.
He is very underated. the sublime moments are So Anxious, Differences,In Those Jeans. he has many great jams but these are in the top r&b joints of the past 15 years. I had 2 review his London show a year or so ago and I was delighted 2 see an actual vocalist and performer at the peak of his powers. His voice is great and he PERFORMED excellently...why the world sleeps on this dude, I'll never know. Yoda! [Edited 8/7/05 4:33am] Luminous beings are we...not this crude matter.
Is this 2morrow or just the END of time? The Funk will always b with u "I've got a face, not just my race, Bang Bang I've got you babe!"

I saw Ginuwine open for Janet on the All For You tour, and he really put on a good show. His voice was great! He tore his shirt off and ran all throughout the crowd grindin' and stickin' his abs in all the girls faces, but it was really funny and he had a lotta personality. You could tell he was just having fun with it and not taking himself seriously. Sooooo much better than egomaniac Usher, and waaay more talented (and cute!).
