I pick Common, i love most of his work..
am going to get hate for this, but i could never ever get into Tribe i own two of their albums to see what the fuss was about and still it collects dust and i had TIP's solo debut album and hated it, two good songs and that was it.. i loved most of the rap groups back in the day, but the Tribe was one i couldnt get into... i could never kick it with the Tribe!!  | |

My fave mc's: common,tip,red man,meth,biggie,mos def,(old)ll,run dmc,cowyboy(whodini),ice cube,ren,rakim,father mc(just kidding!),madvillain,black elvis/dr.octagon,gza,odb,beatnuts,cypress hill,de la,tariq(the roots),snoop..these are the ones that have touched me the most.eminem and the beasties,also.eminem needs to get new subject matter,though.
