Christion' Anybody know what happened to these guys? They had an album on Rocafella in about '97 or '98 called "Ghetto Cyrano":
1. Intro 2. Ghetto (Do What Ya Gotta Do) 3. Full of Smoke 4. Pull It 5. Where I'm from (Interlude) 6. Where I'm From 7. Midnight X-Ta-C 8. Anything Goes 9. I Wanna Get Next to You 10. Bring Back Your Love 11. Face Like Yours 12. Come to Me 13. Soon 14. Tonight 15. Aftermath Anyway, I thought this wasn't a bad album, they had pretty nice voices. Then all of a sudden they disappeared. I know one of the guys from this group was on a Beanie Seigal or Freeway song, I think, but that was about it. Do any of you know what happened? [Edited 8/8/05 20:15pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I liked about 3 songs off of it "Full of Smoke" "Bring Back Your love" and the remake "I Wanna Get Next To You" Thank You San Alejo for getting rid of my enemies. :-0
Thank You SO much Saint Expedite for your help Thank You Virgin de Guadalupe for helping my friend Thank You Saint Anthony for returning my wallet to me untouched

I did a thread on these guys a while ago. Supposedly, the oldest brother did a solo CD on Rocafella in 2000. It got shelved and didn't get released. The youngest brother is looking to bring back Christion on his own. He's currently looking for a deal. I read a interview where (he said) Rocafella didn't promote them right and it started a lot of hassles between the group and Jay-Z. Hard to believe that CD came out almost 10 years ago.

Yeah...
I dont know if he was the younger or eldest of the two brothers, but Allen Anthony, one of the brothers from Christion, released a single "Alright" along with a shelved album. I think "Alright" actually was based on the beat he sang background with on that Freeway track (whose name I forget). I hope they can get it together.

I posted about these guys years ago. Good R&B gets overlooked around here sometimes. People love to say nobody's out there, but don't want to listen when you tell them there are.
I loved Full Of Smoke and Pull It. [Edited 8/9/05 9:25am]

I only heard "Bring Back Your Love" which was them singing over Zapp's "Computer Love", and it struck me as slapped together, so I didn't check out their album.

That's the song that hooked me...maybe I have played it over and over to much...it's the bass in "Come to me" that I really like...

The only song that I liked by Christion was Full of Smoke b/c it had that Curtis Mayfield vibe going. That song defintely was a 70's Mack throwback kind of tune. [Edited 8/9/05 14:58pm]
