These are the ones I need. I have never heard any of Val Young's songs, at least I don't think I have. I wish there were more of The Stone City Band's songs on this album.

Hearing "Call Me" on the radio only reminded me. Just when I finally discovered the guy, musically, he passed away not too long afterwards. I miss Rick! sad

I've seen this cd as well. Who the hell are process and the doo rag? What a name! eek

Process & The Doo Rags are a singing group that Rick had put together in the 80's. These cats could really blow.

I know the feeling. I dig Rick James' music and I am just now starting to really get into it. Poor guy. I hope his final days were spent doing whatever he wanted - because he brought tons of good times to tons of people by way of his music.
Keep on funkin' Mr. James - wherever you are! Music lovers everywhere will miss you! cry
