Jam Of The Day: "Nasty Rock" by Garrett's Crew and P Crew

My jam of the day is "Nasty Rock". This jam was first released on a 12 Inch by Garrett's Crew and then remade by P Crew the same year. I love both versions but I like the P Crew's version better. It had a funky ass beat and groove. It didn't really have too many lyrics except for.....

One, two, three....one, two, three.....one...one.....one, two, three.
Rock...rock....rock rock....rock rock to the nasty rock.
Rock...rock....rock rock....rock rock to the nasty rock get down.
It's so nasty. It's really nasty. Oh, this profanity. It's really nasty.
Rock...rock....rock rock....rock rock to the nasty rock get down.

Okay i have both, but the P-Crew i would always spin because one side of the P-Crews sounded totaly different but both sides were tight. Some wicked ass synths

Garrett's Crew is alright as well

Side 2 of The P Crew's "Nasty Rock" is a jam called "Party Rock", which is a totally different song altogether. Both jams got a lot of airplay in my area.

Side 2 of The Garrett Crew's "Nasty Rock" is an instrumental. I love this instrumental as well, because it has a long extended breakdown with nothing but handclaps and then the beat comes back in.

Looks like we are the only two that remember "Nasty Rock". lol Actually, everyone would remember it if they heard it again because it was very popular.
