oh sheila..

who and what band performs this song,i heard on the radio like a couple of minutes ago,at first i thought it was prince,then i heard a english accent and was like.."no"..so does anyone know who does this song.

And why is that..this is the first i heard of this band, i did kinda like the song..lol..are they really that bad... i mean there not good looking,so does that reflect on thier music.

I think the British accent is in what he says at the begining. I think it was meant as a joke or the singer is obessed with English culture. BTW, there is a thread on this song every other week but you're a newbie so it's OK. As many threads a there have been on this song. I've never took any interest in them until now. So thanks for being the scarfical lamb.

It seems to always be asked and even stated that Prince wrote the song or was somehow involved....not true (then again, I don't visit these threads, so I'm not sure....I could have sworn it was written about Shelia E., though).

I love this song. They have a few other cool tracks too, like "Digital Display" and "Slide Over."

I mean, don't pay money for them, but definitely check them out.

The members of Ready For the World are from Flint, Michigan (same city as filmmaker, Michael Moore).

What is it with people from Michigan and English accents? lol
