P-Shitty i just don't get, the makes a career of sampling others people music, off Biggie's death, claming he invented the remix (sorry Sean that happened when you were sweeping floors). Yet MTV thinks he the greatest thing since elastic band underware.

A moment of silence for those he stepped on for his "it's all smoke and mirrors" career.

Um, it happened before he was even a tickle in his daddy's sac. Songs have been remixed for single release dating back 4+ decades now.

What about the production credits he's allegedly stolen from other producers?

He sings a hook on De La Soul's last album. "Carl Thomas appears courtesy of Bad Boy records".

hmmm I wonder if his remix of Son Of A Gun had anything to do with the poor performance of Janet's "Damita Jo".

That's the worst thing, right there. I don't completely blame him for ruining the careers of the artists who have been listed, because those artists had a share in that themselves. Taking credit from hard-working producers when you hardly lifted a finger in the studio is disgusting to me.

Probably. Plus, he's hosting this year's VMA's so you know it's going to be a hot mess right there. He's probably going to say "Yeah" or "I thought I told you that we won't stop" or "bad boy" a million times before the end of the first hour.

Actually, he didn't completely ruin the Lox (at least not Jadakiss and Styles P), but it took them a long time to recover (about four years). Jadakiss needed to hook up as a featured act with Mariah, Mya and others before he got his groove back, and Styles P needed J.Lo's help to get back. As for J.Lo, maybe that was the real reason she dumped Puffy. and not because of his trial.

...except that legally, Sean Combs could get away with it because HE was THE executive producer of Bad Boy Entertainment. Plus those producers at the time were on HIS payroll.

Puff coaches everyone's vocals. That's his role as a producer.

That's true but that ain't the point.

Think about it TVD. Spread the credit, keep producers happy, they churn out more hits, your stars sell, you still get the most jack and the most exposure.

But that's "too much like right." Puffy did the exact opposite. And look what happened.

Disclaimer: Please consider I was younger and stupider then, but...

I was a fan of each of Mariah Carey's lead off singles ("Vision Of Love", "Emotions", "Dreamlover", and "Fantasy"). Then along comes Diddy and totally ruins her streak with the shite that was "Honey". I simply LOATHE the way P-Diddy says, "That's right" with that pseudo-sexual, breathy voice or "C'mon" in EVERY single damn song he produces. Same with Jermaine Dupri and his annoying laugh ("ha-ha"). Ugh, it's too stale to save a this point. Please just through it out and move on.

In a recent interview Faith talks about how Diddy was telling her he's not really concentrating on the music anymore, that's when she negiciated for her exit.
