I stopped at "Roxanne's a Man." But I had them all . . . Roxanne, Roxanne Roxanne's Revenge The Real Roxanne Queen of Rox I've got those four and I've also got Sparky D's reply called "Sparky's Turn (Roxanne You're Through)". After that, they did start becoming silly with it with songs like "Roxanne's A Man". [Edited 8/11/05 14:18pm] Andy is a four letter word.

This is very true. In fact, I had to leave out some of my actual favorite hip-hop jams because they were not on albums. Jams from Funky Four Plus One, Afrika Bambaataa & SSF, GMF & the FF and others. And thanks for reminding me...I meant to list On The nile by The Egyptian Lover.

A lot of the uptempo jams by groups like Soul Sonic Force, Pretty Tony & Freestyle, Egyptian Lover, Twilight 22, etc. are available on four volumes of this CD..... Also look for a good Sugarhill Records compilation and greatest hits collections by some of the artists. Some of them, however, are still only available on 12 Inches. Andy is a four letter word.
