Jeez, all 4 Eric B & Rakim LPs are essential. I'll go with the debut, for it's inclusion of the classics "Eric B Is President" and "My Melody" (albeit new mixes for the album). | |

I'm sitting here, and after reading this thread I just got pissed...I have come close to buying Paid in Full and Follow the Leader several times but I always pass.....

I would say that no current rappers (at least ones that get all the credit, such as 50 cent, eminem etc...) can even come close to holding a candle to Rakim... He's an unbelievable lyricist and rapper... Eric B. is amazing as well. | |
