Anx was right (New Order)...

Last weekend, I went out of town and forgot my CD case...the only CD I had in my vehicle was the new New Order CD. The one I was saying I didn't like, while Anxiety was asserting that it would grow on me.

Well, Anx was right, after listening to it several times over the weekend (nothing else to listen to!), I did start to like it a whole lot more! lol

At the risk of losing every shred of credibility I could ever hope to have, I must confess that I really REALLY like the "Technique" album best. I'm a little "eh" about a couple of the more popular songs on the album, but there are some really beautiful melodies on that LP.

You didn't lose any credibility with me, that's one of my fave's too, not quite up to the level of PCL though. cool

Off-topic, but...conversations like this remind me how bored I am with the CD's I brought on this trip with me (and the ones I bought during it!), it'll be nice to get home and have access to my whole collection again! music Wahh, I wanna listen to Technique or PCL right NOW! fit lol

It is pretty great. I think they've really found their groove again with these last 2 albums. There's enough about them to make the classic New Order, but they're fresh enough to make them modern and relevant today. Can't wait for their nearly completed followup! yay!
