The new two-tiered strategy enables NIN fan club members to exclusively obtain the very best tickets for the tour by curtailing advance ticket sales and also includes a series of online auctions conducted through www.Ticketmaster.com. “We’ve put extra effort into developing this program as an effective way to ensure that Nine Inch Nails fans get into the show with the best possible tickets,” Reznor explains. “The only complaints will be from scalpers and those who want to put our true fans at a disadvantage.” What’s more, the band will determine how much money scalpers would have made by inflating ticket prices and donate that amount to the Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization that administers post-conviction DNA tests in order to ensure that innocent individuals aren’t sent to prison.
