Why don't you listen to it and judge for yourself, it's free to listen to all of the songs, just download the weed files from the different chapters right here: http://www.sanandamaitrey...index.html

You can listen to each song for free 3 times...except chapter 5 which you can listen to as many times as you want but you can't download it unless you buy it over here:
http://www.sanandamaitrey...talogo.php

My personal opinion is that it's fucking awesome, right up there with his best work. But then again I'm not one of the haters who are sleeping on the great music and prefer to talk shit about Sananda's photos and album covers. The guy is making fantastic music and delivering it directly to the fans and bypassing all the fucking bullshit in between but some people don't seem to get that and instead would rather tear down someone whose trying to do some good or bitch because they can't buy the cd at their local corporate behemoth....and then you wonder why radio and TV are ruled by all these pop tarts. I highly recommend the album. Okay, I'll get down from my soapbox now...

He looks exactly like a lot of people I have known who have taken medication and put on weight. It can really change your appearance quite a bit and your perception somewhat as well. I could be wrong of course.

Also, if you've heard some of the new album, the Microsoft Paint artwork isn't the only indication that he's not taking his music as seriously these days (see songs like "Boolay Boolay" and a particularly weak cover of The Stones' "Angie" for example).

That said, it's not all bad...I really enjoyed the songs "Reach Out" and "Daddy, Can I Have A War?". Two of the best things I've heard from him.

hardly.

have you been to her site recently? tori has never spoken with psuedo-intellectul/psuedo-philosophical jive. when prince does it, it seems humorous. when ttd does it, it seems put on. i love his music but sometimes he tries way too hard.

Dude, CHILL! Most of us aren't "haters", and are actually fans of Sananda. Personally, I love the guys music, and his lyrics are usually quite good. We're just having a bit of fun. You must admit that is one HORRIBLE album cover! We all know he can do better.

This dude really fucking sucks, and looks like Michael Jackson.
His songs make me laugh, and the music sounds like shit.
He sounds like a white guy doing soul music.
The lyrics are wack as fuck.

He's never looked like MJ, and doesn't now. He used to look cool, now he looks like Florida from "Good Times"

His music is quite cool.

He doesn't sound like a white guy doing soul music, and who says white people CAN'T do soul music?

His lyrics can be a tad pretentious, but overall, he is incredibly poetic.

He's a "has been" because of the BS in the recording industry, not for a lack of talent. He has chosen to go the indie route with his music, and there is nothing wrong with that.

You can choose to hurl insults, but you don't even make a convincing argument. You just choose to say he "sucks". Infantile, at best.

Whatever.
Dude's music is wack, he wack, his image is wack and he is an arrogant prick.
Dude is a one hit wonder.
His music is far from anything cool.

I am really hoping music (including that of Prince) does not go this way - being released as an MP3 CD. I assume it can only be played in an MP# player, right?

I REALLY hope TTD (Sananda) releases this - and all future releases - in the more traditional CD format. Otherwise, it won't be included in my collection.

the music world is going in this direction, its just a matter of time before cds go the way of cassettes.

Not at all. You can easily burn the mp3s to a CD.

I sure hope not. CD's were an improvement in sound over cassettes and lp's (well, lp's is debatable, I guess) plus they were easier to use--no flipping sides, easy to skip tracks, just push a button.

MP3's take a bunch of work to create an album and they sound like shit. They should cost a lot less than 99 cents.

angels and vampires on an album cover would have been so beautiful
i'm thinking like an old time european painting
great colors bold strong images, real eye catching

an art student or painter could whip something up easily and cheaply enough

he could have even photo shopped his old vibrator cover of himself in angel wings and added vampire bites or something along those lines

that cover should be titled doo rags and apples
i mean really

or add to that title.....angels and vampires weep for me
