Hs anybody else noticed that Eminem only seems to release comedy songs nowadays?

Its got to have been atleast a coupel of years since he did anything serious.

Rumour has it he's planning to cover Star Trekin'

Was Mockingbird supposed to be a comedy song? I can never tell, none of them are funny.

Plus u 4got another noteworthy song/single like "Mosh" a prime example of speaking the fucking truth.

He has always made funny songs. The only deep songs were on the 8 mile soundtrack . If he makes another song about closets ,his mom , Kim or his daughter I will go crazy.

What are you waffling on about - have you seen my CD collection???? I have 2 Eminem Albums.

Perhaps the singles in the chart you listen to is a little different but right now all Im hearing is Eminem's Ass Like That....tell me that is not a comedy record...

Am no fan of Ass like that or most of his comedy songs, but i still think eminem is still one of the Versatile rap artists out there..

its easier for allot of fans to enjoy his music because he does cover allot of subjects you can relate to..

I dont mind the songs he writes about Kim and Hallie, even though he throws allot of haetfull words at Kim, its so obvoius he can not love another woman apart from her and he cant let her go.. he is one of the aritst that gets very personal with the listeners. but in interviews he shuts everything out.
its a shame that his hangs around with G-Unit which i feel gives him the bad name.

i think ppl are more let down by eminem albums because they EXPECT the shock content and are waiting for the jokes, unlike before when he did come out at first he was something NEw with very shocking and very funny word play..

i know Chino and Kool Keith had been doing it before him, But Eminem was the first Rap Wordplay artist thatwould apeal to the mainstream audience with his very original videos, his videos for his first 2 official albums were a breath of fresh air,,, and now it does seem expected of him and i think he has a really high bar to try to top each time, every great artist is going to miss their high bar of expectations all the time.,
