Kieth Richards - Talk is Cheap

Anyone else love this album? I think it was pretty much slept on but in my opinion rocks harder than any Stones album I've ever heard.

Great album. The 2nd one, (was it 'main offender?), may even be a touch better.
Listen to the reggae tune,'words of wonder'. Great stuff from Keith.

I'ts fine, a fun, loose album - but it's no replacement for Exile or Let It Bleed.

Look at the freaking players...

Bass:
Bootsy Collins
Charley Drayton

Drums:
Steve Jordan

Keys:
Ivan Neville
Bernie Worrell
Chuck Leavell

Guitars:
Keef
Mick Taylor
Waddy Watchell

Horns:
The Memphis Horns
Willie Mitchell
Maceo Parker
Bobby Keys

Really, I think the material comes across much better live...

Nothing cute or fancy. Raw R&R.

My favorite Keef cut is 'Make No Mistake', with his cool-ass rhythm guitar, Al Green horns, and Sarah from LaBelle killin' on back-up vocals.

I never could get into his second one. A few good tracks but the first one rocks.

The last great Stones album.

eek Way cool. Did it kill?

That would have been something to see Keef have to play band leader/front man.
But then again, with those players his job was probably a breeze.

Keef and the boys.

"Take It So Hard"
"You Don't Move Me" (One for Mick)
"Rockawhile"
"Make No Mistake"

Let's all drink a shot of Jack and toast Keith!
