Thanks, there are tons more 60s British Invasion tunes out there. Hi. I don't think I can even add anything to this list that hasn't been mentioned already. Guess who played guitar on Hurdy Gurdy Man and You Really Got Me? [Edited 8/1/05 11:41am] "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Cute You might want to rent one of these... ...and this time set it for the 60s instead of the 90s (Ricky Martin's era) And if your Mum has a bunch of the tunes listed above, she's got a damn good record collection. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Time Of The Season She's Not There Tell Her No I love The Zombies! I wish they'd managed to keep it together as a group longer than they did. They had the musical potential to stick around for a long while.

British Invasion rock is probably my favourite era of music - but I can't think of much to add to your list, so I'll just make a couple of comments:
The Tremeloes Silence Is Golden I also really love The Tremeloes version of Cat Stevens' Here Comes My Baby - and Stevens' version of it is really good as well. Seriously - I'm not being sarcastic. The Walker Brothers
The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore One of my favourite recordings of all time - you could call it a great Righteous Brothers rip-off, but I actually think it's better than anything the Righteous Brothers recorded. I put this song on every mix cd I make, and people always rave about it. [Edited 8/1/05 13:18pm]

They had the musical potential to stick around for a long while. That is strange as wide open as the 60s were. Their records got played but the public only latched onto the hits. Maybe they were too adventurous even for the 60s (hard to believe). An indication where they might have headed could be some of the Argent material. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I loved that programme last year counting down the most successful singles acts in the UK charts, and The Beatles stumbled in the lower half of the Top 10 and Cliff Richard beat Elvis to #1

Proby) who had their biggest musical success in England. Gotta check into the Tremeloes / Cat Stevens versions of Here Comes My Baby. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
