Bloody hell, reading through that, they're not even all old artists. Didn't Ice Cube have a Top 10 hit last year? Mos Def a new album this year? Banning DE LA SOUL?

Well ain't that something? For years now, they've been banning funk and R&B artists to keep them from competing with the hip hop artists and driving them back underground. Now they are banning certain hip hop artists to keep them from competing with their favorite hip hop artists. It's called brainwashing and manipulation.

yknow what though, even if BET's main criteria was to play only ign'ant shit, all those artists have hardcore street (violent) singles in their catalog.

maybe that's why BET will only play the old vids
