What EWF cd should I get next?

EWF fans...

I have the 2 CD Essential Earth Wind & Fire and based on that compilation they are my new favorite group of all time. My Fave songs are:

You and I
Lets Groove
Drum Song
Sing A Song
Fall In Love With Me
Side By Side
Keep Your Head to the Sky
Lets Talk
Cant Hide Love

I also got their album Powerlight but was slightly disappointed. Anyone who can point me in the right direction...thanks deeply.
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

'Powerlight' is a disappointing EW&F album.I rarely listen to that one.You should start with their 70s work.Get those albums that TA and Manki mentioned, you won't be disappointed!

Most definitely true. And more I would also add Faces to the "essential" list
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

after you explore their 70s work, you should check out this late 80s album

Released in the fall of 1987,this album was considered a comeback for them.Contains the hit singles "System Of Survival" and "Thinking Of You".There are a few nice ballads here too ("Here Today And Gone Tomorrow" and "Every Now And Then").Like many late-80s albums,it features alot of drum machines and synthesizers, but I think it's a surprisingly solid album.

I bought it a few weeks ago,but I've been too busy to watch the entire show. But I love the beginning, when both bands come out and jam together.
