MAC BAND - ROSES ARE RED Does anyone remember this group? I was going through some old video tapes and came across their music video for "Roses Are Red". They're from Flint, Michigan and released the following albums:
Mac Band - Featuring The McCampbell Brothers (1988 on MCA Records) Love U 2 The Limit (1990 MCA Records) The Real Deal (1991 Ultrax Records) Mac Band's most popular hit "Roses Are Red" was off of their debut album and produced by LA and Babyface. Does anyone know what they are up to today or if they released anymore music? Ohhh you keep saying stay the niiiiiiiiight

?? This thread has his name all over it. "Roses Are Red" was typical L.A. and Babyface assembly line, hit music from that era.

Yeah, i did do a thread somewhere. "the real deal" was newjack. "love u to the limit" was weak and had no babyface or la reid involvement, niether did "the real deal" but the nejack was quite good.

If there's anything I'm certain of,it's I love you I heard this song alot in the summer of 1988.It's a classic LA and Babyface production.....catchy and fun. [Edited 8/1/05 0:43am]
