Favorite front man: David Lee Roth, or The late Freddie Mercury.

I've seen both of these guys in concert ,and let me tell you they know how to work a crowd. But what I want to know from you fellow orgers, who do you perfer and why. My pick: David Lee Roth he just seem like a wild man on & off the stage and the chemistry between him and Eddie is undeniable. Even though I like Queen more No one rocks a house like Diamond Dave. headbang

David and VH with a good set list...

I love Freddie as a vocalist, but some of the later songs are ill I like Radio Ga Ga though boxed

Brian May was one of the best of the seventies, but I like EVH's playing more.

not sure why you singled out Freddie to call "late", considering they both have about the same amount of brainwave activity biggrin

i love Van Halen (with DLR), but he can't hold a candle to Freddie. That man had an astonishing voice. Listen to "Who Wants To Live Forever".... chills every time.

David Lee Roth was more fun to watch on stage....but....

When Freddie Mercury cut off that long ass hair, he passed David, by far, in the looks department.

I guess Freddie was the only person in the whole world who managed to look like an erect penis on stage! wink
he's the better front man in my humble opinion...

As much as I can enjoy DLR, he doesn't hold a candle to Freddie. Mr. Mercury was one of the greatest front men in rock and roll history.
