Kenny and Chante

I was huge fans of both of them even before they got married and I really loved their debut album together Things That Lovers Do. They got some new stuff coming out. Anymore fans of them? My goodness, Chante's voice when I first heard it just blew me away. Y'all remember "Love's Taken Over"? And "Never Too Busy" when Kenny first came out? Good stuff.

I love them both separately and together. Chante's debut was one of th few albums I bought without really having a clue as to what was onit and being totally satisfied. Kenny had a nice debut too. His voice is very smooth and soothing. I heard the new album is original material but the single they had on their website was a cover of No Ordinary Love of all choices! I just hope they don't stick with the duets for the rest of their careers.

Me too. It would be nice to hear them seperate like before as well. They have some new 1,2, Step song on their site now. Looks like they are making sure to stay trendy with that one. It's nice and groovy, but they still want to cater a lil bit to that 17 and up audience. Not sure if that's good LOL

They are touring together right now, right?

I'm not a fan of Kenny. I LOVE CHANTE!!!!! I didn't really know anything about her when my couin introduced her music to me. It was around her second album. I took my cousin to see her for her birthday not knowing what to expect. GOOD LAWD!!!!! She was sooooo beautiful and her voice was flawless. I went out and bought her CD's immediately. It's funny because I thought to myself. She reminds me of Mayte, Prince should do something with her. Low and behold, there she was singing back up for Prince on the EMANCIPATION cd. I wish it woul've been more a duet.

I think they were on tour with a stageplay. I remember earliar this year when I lived in L.A. they performed on a tour stop there. And YES, I wish P had more of a duet with her. She's a huge Prince fan so I know she was excited about working with him. That voice of hers is just beautiful.

I remember seeing her perform and doing a short song with her hitting these super high notes. It was beautiful. I would love to have her, Mariah and Amel Larriuex harmonize with there over the music staff high notes. That would be so incredible.

I really didn't like the duet album but I love Kenny Latimore. His first album is really great to me. The only track I like Chante Moore on is her duet with Keith Washington on "I Love You".

nod I wasn't feeling the duet album neither. However, I do have to agree with you that her duets with Washington in the past were well executed.

That first Kenny album was so smooth and wonderful. Yeah, and that Keith duet was lovely too.

I think that that particular song captures the essence of being madly in love with someone who's in love with you. It's a very emotional song for me. Very sexy, it has that sense of urgency you feel when you want to be with the one you love really badly.

I always thought Kenny Lattimore resembled Karl from "Slingblade". There's just a sorta crazy look to him. He's a lucky man, though - Chante is gorgeous.

Chante Moore and Keith Washington have better musical chemistry. Candlelight and You and I Love You are very pretty songs and their voices compliment one another. I like her and Kenny Lattimore as solo artist. I didn't like the duet album.

I like Chante and Kenny together but must admit I never bought their album. I used to love Candlelight and You. But one of my fave Chante songs was her contribution to the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack, Wey U. Smooth and simple.
