oh I really don't mean to make light of it. I know first hand about weak looking bruthas and how they can "man up" and attempt to whip a woman's ass...
been there, seen that, had it tried.... but El Debarge's high pitched voice sayin " Bitch I said NO!" echoes through my mind and that shit is comical to me. again I say I am sorry

He did blow up pretty big. He had alot of Pop Solo singles after he left Debarge such as: I Wonder Who's Holding Donna Now, Who's Johnnie, You Wear It Well, and Dance With Me. I especially remember You Wear It Well b/c that single was produced by Jesse Johnson. Overall, El Debarge's solo career was doing well until some women accused him of rape and [b]it ended up like a 2Pac/Tyson situation and he ended up serving some time. However, he did make a comeback with Foreplay and DJ Quick.[/b]

Also although I loved Debarge I was still originally in Love with Bobby, El's older brother who was the lead singer os Switch.

I met some of them in a LA Mcdonalds when I was 15 (1979). They came in and they had one their own tee shirts.
me and my cousin were like damn where'd they get those shirts? and then  THEY ARE ON THE SHIRTS
complete with squealing, pointing and giggling. It was Tommy, Eddie and Greg. Others in the place kept saying Where's Bobbby, but even at 15 I knew that was phucked up so I didn't mention him and took those autographs with glee.
