Songs that really touch your emotions...

I truly believe that music is a gift from God. I always feel some kind of emotion when I hear music, even if it's a song I cant stand and all I feel is annoyed when I hear it!!

Mary- Be Happy: I love to hear this because you can hear her pain and if you've ever been on a search to be loved you can relate

Teena Marie- Portugese Love: Oh my goodness! This was the first time in my life that I was ever moved by a song.I heard it at a talent show and I was only 11 or 12 years old but I remember saying: Who is that woman singing with such passion?

Ashford and Simpson- Stay Free: I always feel good when I hear these two and Valerie Simspson can play the hell out of a piano!

Curtis Mayfield- Give Me Your Love: Hypnotizing!

Marvin Gaye- I want You: In my opinion one of the sexiest songs ever recorded!

I could go on and on... smile

Anxiety

sometimes when i'm in the right headspace, listening to radiohead's "ok computer" album can get me choked up. dunno why.

also, johnny cash's song "spiritual" had me bawling on the subway the first time i heard it. it's a pretty intense little song.

Did my thread "Into The Night" have any influence on this?!
I have a few that will bring tears to my eyes:
The forementioned "Into The Night" which I described in detail of it's effects on me in my thread.
Brooke Benton "Rainy Night In Georgia"
Louis Armstrong - "What A Wonderful World"
Bobby Womack - "Harry Hippy"
SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him."
