Obscure cut of the day: Shawn Colvin - "Sunny Came Home" Anyone remember this song? I remember VH1 playing it non-stop, and all of the easy-listening, lite FM stations paying this to death, and it won a Grammy for song of the year. I only remember that because when they announced the winner, Ol' Dirty Bastard ran up on stage and started mouthing off about "how Wu-Tang was for the children" and stuff.

Yup! I remember it, although I definitely wouldn't call it obscure. I think it made #7 in the US.
Sunny came home to a list of names / She didn't believe in transcendence

Great song...one of those songs you find yourself singing along with several times before you realize you are singing about revenge by arson. Kind of like Suzanne Vega's "Luka"...the catchiest, chirpiest song ever about child abuse. All good things they say never last...

Correct. As a matter of fact, when she was giving her acceptance speech, ODB ran up on the stage and started protesting about not getting a Grammy which was rather comical.
