No one can use Madonna as an example, since even Madonna can't even sell out all the major stops on her itinerary anymore. Scalpers lost so much damn money on that tour. Concert ticket sales are down across the board for all artists, and I can't see this decline ending anytime soon with the advent of DVD, HBO and Tivo. I don't see why Janet is singled out for not being able to sell out huge ampitheatres anymore. You can bitch about her routine, but her ticket sales are pretty much following the same trends as everyone else's.

What world do we live in that scalpers become so credible that they're selling out of tickets is the guideline we use to see if a tour sells out or not. I just don't get it. If the veune sells all it's tickets, it's sold out. Scalpers be damned!

Co-Sign Rhondab you and I are looking to hear some music live not a video remake. I will not shell out money to see a live video rehash.
